COVID Strikes Again

Yes, I have COVID. This is my second run in with the old Rona. I’ve not been too sick and feel much better than I did with the first go around. I didn’t even realize I had it until I started feeling a little disoriented and checked my temp to find that I had a fever. This meant I’d been at a Scouts event the night before with it, and which probably explains why I was so tired during the event. So far my count for sickness has included several chest colds and two nasty stomach viruses this year. I think it’s time to make sure my kids know how to wash their hands before they come home from school going forward.

The Return Of Indoor Soccer

We are back at soccer again this year and Ted’s team is pretty good. They are undefeated so far and they all work together well. It’s fun watching them play because I’ve coached quite a few of them on past teams. Seeing these little guys grow up and the skills they’ve developed over the years has been really rewarding.
