Columbus Air Show, Father’s Day

Columbus Air Show, Father’s Day

My family treated me to my first ever air show. We traveled to Columbus, Ohio on Father’s Day to witness a full day of aerial acrobatics. We chose Sunday hoping that traffic would be better. We were right. It was easy to get in and out of the show. The only thing the Sunday show lacked that the Saturday show had were fireworks. I would trade that for the crowds.

For the event we purchased new 10×42 binoculars. Interesting fact, I used Google Gemini to buy these glasses. While perusing Amazon I asked Gemini about the products I was looking at and their recommendations. These binoculars are very good and I am glad we brought them to the show. I also bought my digital camera and let the boys take pictures. This blog does not let me host high pixel photographs but we took some great photos. The boys especially liked using the camera.

We saw an F-35 and the Air Force Thunderbirds. There were many other cool and entertaining aircraft. I enjoyed it. I would like to come back again.
