Alan Jack Last Call Tour

Alan Jack Last Call Tour

After Garth Brooks I wanted to see if anymore of the country singer icons I love were touring and if I could see them play live before they retired for good. Lo and behold Alan Jackson was on his “Last Call” tour and visiting Rupp Arena near my birthday. I decided to cash in my birthday present for two tickets and a sitter for the boys and we went down to Lexington, KY.

It was awesome seeing AJ for the first time ever, and probably his last time ever. He’s calling an end to his career as he battles disease and retires completely. I think this was his tenth visit to Rupp Arena, and last unfortunately, but I was there for it. I jammed out.

The show was great. He played a lot of videos from the nineties of his songs while he sang along with them. There are so many hits that there’s not a single song you don’t recognize. We had a great time and Rupp is not bad for concerts. One thing I noted is the parking here is terrible and I have to ding the venue for it. It is hard to get in and out and we were stuck for an hour just trying to get out of the parking lot. Evidently people park as far away as possible and walk to Rupp to skip it because it is so bad. Lesson learned.
