Hello

and welcome to my blog. I appreciate you stopping by to read it. The blog is broken down into two sections. The Personal Blog is a weekly post (every Tuesday) about what I’ve been up to recently for my family and friends. I try to stay active and do interesting things, however as the father of two small boys most of my adventures these days involve their various activities and favorite places that we visit together. I ‘ve reduced my social media presence but I find value in documenting our little adventures for the future. I’ve written well over 100,000 words on this blog and I feel this is the best gift I can give to my future self besides good health.

NOTE – as of September, 2024 I’ve decided to take my personal blog private. I am aware of web scrapers accessing my site and the option to add a “do not track” element into the HTML header, but I am not convinced that AI scrapers aren’t adding it to their corpus, which makes any option of the “right to be forgotten” completely untenable. Since this often involves details of my family I am going to place those items behind a password wall. I suspect not many of those beyond my close friends and family are interested in reading that material anyway.

The other section of the blog is my Technical Blog and is also a weekly post (every Friday). I like to share what I am interested in outside of my personal life, specifically where technology and business meet to create value.  I also dive into personal productivity and self-improvement, which are of extreme interest to me. I am finding that writing about technology is extremely useful in following tech trends, which I find interesting and which always seem to be evolving. I think we can all agree the landscape here has shifted tremendously.
