Hello

and welcome to my blog. I appreciate you stopping by to read it. The blog is broken down into two sections. The Personal Blog is a weekly post (every Tuesday) about what I’ve been up to recently. I try to stay active and do interesting things, however as the father of two small boys most of my adventures these days involve their various activities and favorite places that we visit together.

The other section of the blog is my Technical Blog and is also a weekly post (every Friday) about my journey in tech. I like to share what I’ve learned and add context into what I am interested in.  I tend to focus on topics specifically around business intelligence and data engineering. I feel they go hand in hand and knowing deeply about both subjects is incredibly helpful. I also spend a lot of my free time exploring tech topics that do not relate specifically to my employment and need a vehicle to organize around including a lot of textbooks, podcasts, tutorials, and Udemy/A Cloud Guru/MIT OCW courses so that makes it’s way onto these pages. I am finding that writing about technology is extremely useful in following tech trends, which I find interesting and which always seem to be evolving.

Next I have Notebooks which are ongoing projects. I am fleshing out my “Readings and Courses”, which is a top level look at what I am working on.

Finally, there are links to my social media accounts if you are interested in getting in touch with me. I would suggest Linked-In as the best way to make contact as I am not as active on social media as I used to be.
