MGT 635 – Designing for Project Success – Week 4

Stakeholder Engagement and Communications Management Planning – we worked more on the Dream Projects. There was additional focus on stakeholders, communications, and Management. Stakeholders can include project sponsors as well as team members, vendors and suppliers, members of the community, and whoever depending on the scope of the project. We talked a lot about leadership. I have always thought leadership as a project manager was difficult. A colleague once said that project management was like being responsible for everything while having authority over nothing. The best PMs I have worked with have been tenacious follow uppers and communicators.
