Chris Stapleton Concert – Paul Brown Stadium, Cincinnati OH

We attended our first country concert of the year at Paul Brown Stadium where we saw Chris Stapleton. We had a nice evening together. First, we ate dinner at Wabi Sabi, which is a sushi restaurant. We then started walking over the bridge and flagged down one of the bicycle riskshaw drivers. I did not realize there were so many of them, I am talking dozens. The electric bike has definitely changed getting to shows. They ride around with LED lights on their bicycles and blaring speakers. The rider took us all the way to the front of the stadium through the crowd of people. Luckily we got through security and were in our seats by the time the opener started.

We had really great seats in that we had access to the lounge. Evidently if you buy tickets early enough through Costco you get access to the VIP area. This came in handy when thunder rolled in and we could sit down and wait in the air conditioning. Outside of the room people were sitting on the concrete or standing, and lots of people tried to talk their way in. Eventually the show started and we made our way back out to our seats.

The show was pretty good. He played all the hits and I sang to all of them. It was cool seeing him and his wife playing together. It would be awesome to work with Leslie and be together all of the time. Stapleton also played an impromptu song he wrote about Cincinnati which was a special treat. It was a good time.
