Tacos Los Compadres, Community Service
Crittenden
I do not have much to post this week, I am busy with schoolwork and not leaving the house much to stay on top of it. We were able to venture out to a new restaurant called Tacos Los Compadres. I was in the mood for Tex-Mex and feeling somewhat bored with our local offerings, we ventured down to Crittenden to sample a new spot. The food was incredible. The charro beans themselves were worth the trip. Afterwards we visited a local park to chuck around the football and found a free concert. We then went to a local ice cream parlor where I had one of the best vanilla shakes I have sampled.
Community Service
We assisted one of the Troop members in his pursuit of his Eagle rank by volunteering to help with community project. Ted ran a power washer and cleaned up the sidewalk and patio. He was proud to show his fellow scouts that he was capable of running the machine and doing a good job. It is these small things that shape a boy into a man.
