Hiking at Cub World, Smoked Chicken Wings
Ben and I went to Cub World together for a day of archery and BB guns, but he decided he didn’t want to do that when we arrived. Instead, he wanted to go for a hike, or at least spend some time with me. We ended up hiking all over Cub World and up through Camp Friedlander. Eventually we found our way on the other side of the camp at the shotgun and rifle range, which is fairly far away. Poor Ben was fairly tired at this point, and very hungry, deciding to skip out on lunch. When Ben does not eat, he gets exceptionally hangry. We stopped at Skyline Chili to eat dinner, where he feasted.
I am also in the mood to smoke foods more often, and I plan on running the smoker every Friday. Leading off I will be making chicken wings. Every Friday I will choose another meat. Overall this was a good run of chicken, although I think I need to find an alternative barbecue sauce. I am just not interested in sweet sauces much anymore.
