Archery Night

I tagged along with my wife and sons to their practice night that occurs in a local barn owned by a supporter of the school’s archery program. It was the first time I’ve had my bow out in awhile. I made some good shots and groupings but I started screwing around with the sights and messed them all up. Also, I noticed I can’t see that far anymore. The target was fairly blurry. I do appreciate the man who hosted us, that was very kind of him to open his barn up to others so they could use it to shoot. I also met some other really nice people there also. This was a nice community.

Visit To The Cincinnati Zoo

It was a pretty day so we went to the Cincinnati Zoo. The tulips are not quite out yet but they are coming. We were able to check out the new bear exhibit, which was cool. The bears are juveniles and were out playing and wrestling. It makes the old bear hill much easier to walk up. It was still a little chilly outside and many animals were in their inside enclosures, but those that were out were very active.
