The Purpose Driven Life – Day 7

“Creation release our Creator’s glory. In nature we learn that God is powerful, that he enjoys variety, loves beauty, is organized, and is wise and creative.” I love nature. I am in awe of large forests, mountains, rivers, oceans, deserts, large spaces, and weather of all kind. God’s glory is manifest in his creation. Everything from the destructive hurricane to the warm breeze on a slow summer day. All of these are God’s creations and his glory. Living for God connects me with nature and allows me to appreciate his splendor. I always struggle to understand, what is God’s glory? If all creation IS his, then he deserves all of the glory, and therefore we can celebrate his glory through our connection to the natural world.
