BUS 605 – Legal Environment for Business – Week 5

Week 5 – Agency and Employment Law

This is the last week of the class and there is an enormous amount of work to do. Not only do I need to read two chapters and take a quiz on it, I also need to take an exam on Halloween Night, inevitable given the timing of this week. We learned about employee law and agency law, as well as laws surrounding franchises. After learning about employment law in particular I understand a lot of the HR policies I’ve dealt with over the years more. The exam ended up being pretty brutal with essay questions that I needed to finish in two hours. I was very glad to be done with the class, although I admit I learned quite a lot during it.
