Week 3 – Torts and Intellectual Property

We reviewed strict liability and product liability and reviewed intellectual property also. We also took another quiz and submitted a discussion regarding strict liability also. It is a hot topic that one, whether or not strict liability is fair. In a sense, if a producer is doing everything they can to ensure their product is safe then you wonder if it is fair, but then again it is not fair to anyone, and maybe it is just pragmatic in that it forces companies to be safer and gives some consumers some protection in the process.
