Visit To Cincinnati Zoo

A beautiful day at the Cincinnati Zoo. Our first spring visit as we tend to wait after the big rush of the crowds when the weather is nice. It seems the weather didn’t break well this year until late, with most of April chilly and rainy, so when it finally did getting up here was nearly impossible because of the demand. The best time to visit when this happens is to get there very early and enter the park with the rest of the pass holders during early admission. If you think you can arrive anytime after that good luck, especially from Zoo Blooms through Mother’s Day weekend. Note – if you are a ticket holder they will have you wait until the park opens after early admission, but at least you are there and parked.

My four best pictures are below. Only one, the Grey Crowned Crane from the exhibit “Africa”, is a new addition to my Zoo Pics. Other than that we’ve also come to the conclusion the Cincinnati Zoo has the best hot pretzel and hot cheese in any park we’ve visited. Best place to get one is the Australian themed eatery “Hops”, where you can sit in the shaded eating section directly behind it.
